Does it scan a PDF score?
No. Export uncompressed MusicXML from a notation editor. PDF is a page image and does not reliably contain musical pitch structure.
Does this convert concert pitch to an instrument part?
It shifts the whole written score by a semitone interval and preserves existing instrument-transpose settings. Instrument-part conversion needs a separate notation-editor operation.
Why are there several chord names?
A pitch collection can have several valid roots or inversions. The tool lists exact common formulas; musical context decides the useful name.
Will my score layout stay identical?
Existing layout data is preserved, but altered pitches and accidentals can require reflow. Open and inspect the result in your notation editor.
